Tech marketing company in a Los Angeles based that specializes in high volume lead generation software. It is built to scale sms and email marketing with personalization and smart triggers. Company is experimenting with predictive models and machine learning applications for marketing since it has very large legacy data and hundreds of thousands of new transactions daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the company’s technological vision and lead all aspects of the company’s technological development
  • Define the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth
  • Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct research and case studies on cutting-edge technologies and make determinations on applicable implementation
  • Drive software development across multiple teams and phases to ensure that engineering solutions are aligned with business objectives
  • Minimize schedule and technical risk by addressing obstacles proactively and aggressively
  • Hire, review, and terminate staff for IT Department
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a multi-team or cross-functional organization

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Information Technology arena, and at least 5 years management and strategic experience
  • Experience managing a team as CTO
  • Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff
  • Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
  • Strong writing and presentation skills

Big plus if candidate for LA office has experience:

  • Maintaining business critical software not just building software
  • Maintenance of legacy software that is not well architected
  • Transition from old business critical software to new one

Strong backend skills is a must, also should have a technical know-how, big-picture thinking, should be able to understand the purpose of each role involved in the process (either it’s a QA or Front End Developer), strong communication and leadership skills, ability to build and inspire teams.

Skills Set:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework, ASP.NETVB.NET
  • C#, Angular, Web Services, XML, SOAP, JSON
  • MS SQL
  • Experience working with Third Party API’s
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Object-Oriented ProgrammingProject management and architecture capabilities necessary
